Special Reporter: APSA is proud to have contributed to the Joint International Conference on Sustainable Rice Cultivation and Vegetable Science & Innovation, held on 24 October 2025 in Bangkok in partnership with the Veg-SeedHub: Hub of Talent for Thai Vegetable Seeds.
The conference brought together over 350 participants including scientists, extension officers, university lecturers and students, private sector representatives, international collaborators, and farmer leaders to foster cross-crop collaboration, showcase innovations in sustainable agriculture, address key challenges such as climate resilience and seed systems, and build a platform for future partnerships and joint research.
APSA also supported the Vegetable Science & Innovation session, chaired by Ms. Kunaporn Phuntunil, which featured expert insights on vegetable breeding, analytics and post harvest technologies.
The conference exemplified the strength of public-private partnerships in advancing sustainable agriculture and food security in Thailand and beyond.
