Special Reporter: Students of RAWEP Dhubri organized a Mini Agricultural Exhibition at the Sarat Chandra Singha College of Agriculture campus. The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. F. U. A. Ahmed, Head and Senior Scientist, KVK Dhubri on Tuesday (11th November 2025).
The event was a resounding success, marked by the enthusiastic participation of the farming community. Around 300 regional farmers, along with local residents and students, attended the exhibition, contributing valuable on-the-ground perspectives to the discussions and interactions.
The farmers took an active interest in the fair, engaging directly with the students and exhibitors. The students set up stalls representing various agricultural departments, while several participants also showcased their own products. Items produced by Self Help Groups (SHGs) were displayed and sold during the event, highlighting the spirit of rural entrepreneurship.
This direct exchange of knowledge and experience fostered a strong connection between the students and the farming community. The feedback gathered from the farmers provided important insights into making agricultural technologies more practical, accessible, and farmer-friendly. The event successfully positioned RAWEP students as true partners of the farming community, reflecting their commitment to agricultural development and rural engagement.
At the conclusion of the programme, the students extended their heartfelt gratitude to all the faculty members of Sarat Chandra Singha College of Agriculture and KVK Dhubri for their constant support and guidance throughout the event.
